Our Team
Dr. Jae H. Chun and Dr. Jin Lee
Since 2004, Dr. Chun and Dr. Lee have made Laredo their home and served the community at Laredo Covenant Dental, P.A . They are both graduates of University of California and New York University College of Dentistry. They both furthered their education and training at Mount Sinai Hospital/Bronx Veterans Affairs Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Chun has been in private practice since 2004. He received his bachelor of science from University of California at Irvine and doctor of dental surgery from New York University College of Dentistry with an honor in endodontics. He continued his training as resident at Mount Sinai/Bronx VA hospital from 2001 to 2003, serving as chief resident of the dental program in the second year of his residency. In 2004, he established Laredo Covenant Dental, P.A. with his wife, Jin Lee, D.D.S. Since then, he has been dedicated to providing excellence in patient care. He is a member of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Laredo District Dental Society. For many years, Dr. Chun had volunteered to serve underprivileged patients at Mercy Ministries of Laredo and for various charities. He is passionate about his faith and family. He loves outdoor activities, especially skiing and hiking, as well as listening to music and reading. He is a proud father of three children.
Dr. Lee has been in private practice since 2004. She received her bachelor of science from University of California at Davis and doctor of dental surgery from New York University College of Dentistry with an honor in research. She continued her training as a resident at Mount Sinai/Bronx VA hospital from 2002 to 2003. Upon finishing her program, she moved to Laredo with her husband, Jae Chun, D.D.S. and established Laredo Covenant Dental, P.A. in 2004. She understands the concerns, fears, and needs of patients and is dedicated to providing excellent care. She is a member of American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Laredo District Dental Society. For many years, Dr. Lee has volunteered to serve the community through her profession and church. She is passionate about faith, family, and education for children and youth. She is a proud mother of three children.
Office Coordinators: Vanessa Hernandez & Krystal Aguilar
Vanessa and Krystal are the first ones that you will come in contact with when you call or come into our office. They are highly qualified and well-versed in dealing with every aspect of patient care, especially appointments, dental insurances, billing, and any other needs you may have. Their gentle demeanor and kind hearts will help you feel comfortable at the first sight.
Registered Dental Hygienist: Deziree Lorrayne Barrientos
Miss Barrientos completed her education and training at the University of Texas Health and Science Center at San Antonio and has been part of our dental team since April, 2019. She is passionate about her work, willing to further her skills in every aspect of dentistry. Her gentle demeanor and kind smiles will be a great addition to our team of beautiful staff.
